Debug is preparatory plant-based oil blend solution used for making corals free of bugs. This is derived from an ancient Indian remedy to treat parasites. These bugs live and feed on Acropora causing them to eventually die. It's recommended that you treat your system 3 to 5 times over a period of 3 to 5 weeks to make the corals entirely bug free.

Make sure all crabs and shrimps are taken out of the system before the treatment as they will be affected by the treatment. Stop Ozone, carbon and UV and let the skimmer overflow into the sump during the treatment. The medicine is concentrated and for best mixing, drop it at the inlet of your return pump. You will see particles floating around and this is normal.  The treatment lasts for 8 hours. After treatment skimmer and all other equipment can be turned back on. 

The treatment concentration mentioned below is for white bugs. 

Full bottle contains 6ml of debug and it treats 600 gallons. Each ml of debug treats 100 gallons. Sometimes you may need 1.5ml per 100G to treat more resistant bugs. 

For dipping, setup a container with 3 drops of debug per 1 gallon of water. Have a heater and small circulation pump to keep water moving. Treat the corals for 8 hours and introduce to system.
